Sculptor Charter School

Parents are partners in education at this elementary and middle school focused on Core Knowledge Curriculum and fine arts. Students take at least one fine arts course every quarter and can choose from Art, Drama, Music, Chorus, and Technology Arts. Each year, students look forward to Annual World Space week, which hosts dignitaries from the Kennedy Space Center to talk about space programs. Students celebrate the customs, food and music of other cultures during International Week and show their mastery of knowledge and skills in competitions such as the Science Fair, art contests and Odyssey of the Mind events.

As a Core Knowledge School, high academic expectations encourage each student to reach his or her potential. In each grade, students experience a wide range of historical, scientific and cultural topics that are inter-related allowing each student to build a broad base of knowledge. Subject focus areas include Visual and Performing Arts, Science, Technology, Gifted/Accelerated, International Studies, Foreign Language and Math. In the middle school grades, students at all levels of learning can find a curriculum that keeps pace with their needs and aptitudes. In addition to the regular academic track, higher-achieving students can take honors classes and enrichment classes in accelerated instruction.
